Blah blah etc.

New post at Blogspot.

I don't know why I don't produce any original material for this blog.  I suppose I should.  Or could, rather, because on the list of things I should do, this blog's pretty near the bottom.

Why don't I, then, write anything for this place beyond "New Stuff?"

Consistency, I suppose.  I don't want the checkered effect of blogging here, posting "go to LiveJournal" there, then blogging there, and posting "go to Blogspot" here.

It's skewed, I know, and wildly unfair, but I've learned to live with the disappointement.

Letting you know

New post at the Blogspot journal.

Whoa.

Coming to LiveJournal to begin a writing blog, I'm rather stunned to find I already have a livejournal account. I've had it since August of 06.

Go figure.

Anyway.

Like I said, I'm here to begin a writing blog.  Well, another writing blog.  I have one over at Blogspot, but the networking possibilities over there are nil, and I've come here hoping to meet some writers.

I'll write mostly about anything, but right now am working on two fantasy novels, a few short stories (most of which also have a fantasy slant), a comic book (or two, depending on how you look at it), and a comic strip.  Usually,  I write when the spirit moves me, but I've become more dedicated to it, with the purpose of finishing, and submitting, a novel.  Previously, I'd write just to write.

In any case, any thoughts or news I have about writing, good or bad, is going here.  The Blogspot journal will remain active, if only as a twin to this one.

Or is this a twin to the Blogspot journal

Conundrums abound.

I'm gonna go write, now.

Whoo. First entry. A milestone event.

I've blogged before (at two sites, actually), but I've decided to give LiveJournal a go because . . . well, because everyone else is doing it, and I'm nothing if not a jumper of bandwagons.

So.

What's new?

Well, I'm farther than ever on Oot (don't worry, all is explained), I've got a new computer, 4 PC games (five if I ever get around to installing FEAR), and a rather unexpected respect for soccer. I mean football. No, soccer. (Shit!)

Bend It Like Beckham changed my life. How sad is that? :/
